Telenor Denmark launches browser-based Mobile switchboard with Gintel Switchboard Technology

Mobile switchboard from Telenor, which was launched commercially by Telenor Denmark on March 1st, is targeted at small and medium enterprises and offers advanced inbound call management capabilities.

The switchboard application manages inbound traffic to users of a Telenor Pure Mobile solution, and provides rich functionality for main number call management. The switchboard is fully integrated with the company directory, allowing presence or absence information to be displayed. External contacts can also be included for the purposes of computer telephony integration (CTI).

Third of Employees Use Company Email Inappropriately

PRLog (Press Release)– Apr 22, 2011– As part of ongoing research into the habits of SharePoint users, a SharePoint solutions specialist, http://www.lightningtools.com, conducted research of 1,283 company email users to investigate what they use their work email for.

The study, conducted by http://www.lightningtools.com, initially asked the respondents 'Do you feel that you use your company email inappropriately?' To which almost a third, 32%, answered 'yes.' To look into the matter further, the respondents who answered 'yes' were then asked what they used their email for that they deemed to be 'inappropriate.'

According to the research from http://www.lightningtools.com, more than two fifths, 41%, of the respondents who admitted to using their staff email inappropriately explained that they had used it for sending 'funny images' to colleagues, whilst a further 48% stated that they had used it to 'gossip' with their co-workers.  

Furthermore according to http://www.lightningtools.com, over a tenth, 11%, of the respondents who claimed that they had used the staff email system inappropriately admitted to 'flirting' with other employees in some way.  

The respondents that were asked what they had done that they deemed to be inappropriate, from a list of multiple answers, were also given the opportunity to select 'other' and specify what they had done. One respondent claimed to have sent 'nude images' of themselves to another employee.

The touch-screen enabled visitors to select high-quality videos showing the different towns of the Midi-Pyrénées region. The videos were displayed on a separate, 42' plasma screen above the touch-screen.

iBex FacePad versus FlyTouch 3, 8gb Superpad III Fight!

The Flytouch3 improved on the Flytouch2 by adding 512mb DDR, and 8gb built in Nandflash memory. The Flytouch III (FT3) also ran the Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system while Flytouch 2 only ran Android 2.1 operation system.

Around the 2 months later, in April, iBex released several key updates in the Firmware. Flytouch3's were now Adobe Flash 10.1 and External 3g (WCDMA) capable. The Angry Birds Computer game could now be played. The Youtube video browsing could happen via the Vimeo Youtube application.

These upgrades made the Flytouch3 the ultimate tablet pc. The one think I noticed as well as people on the Apad.tv Forum noticed was that the sounds volume on the FT3 loudspeakers was not loud enough.
