PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 19, 2011 - Harnessing the power of the Django web framework, Chicago-based Imaginary Landscape, a leading web design, development and management firm, has been chosen by Massachusetts Institute of Technology's (MIT) Mobile Experience Lab to assist in the deployment of its Locast platform in the Abruzzo region of Italy.
The MIT Mobile Experience Lab's research centers on the interaction of three broad themes in technology and society: sustainability, mobility, and connectivity. The program's focal point is delivery of information via mobile technology. By utilizing Imaginary Landscape's development capabilities and technology expertise for the open source web framework Django for the Python programming language, MIT is able to manage data, make quick changes and bring new products to market quickly and effectively in its reinvention of its website.
